Our client is an expert knitter and has been selling books, DVDs, knitting patterns, and knitting classes for years, through a variety of venues. When it came time to update her aging web site, she decided to bring some of her products in house and sell them on her own web site. There were a few challenges — she needed room in her product layout to include a lot of description, not always practical in your standard e-commerce package. She also needed to sell both physical (shippable) and downloadable products. We got her set up in WordPress with the right e-commerce software for her needs. With a little custom coding, she now has an easy-to-use site that combines great information with the convenience of on-site shopping.
